Patrick Tandy, Mr. Delirium will make an appearance at this year’s Baltimore Book Festival! For, after all, what says literature better than a 15-minute satirical podcast? Mr. Delirium will appear at An Evening of Mobtown Mayhem on Friday, September 28, 2012, beginning at 6:00 p.m. under the [...] With preparations for a new season of InveDel podcasts quietly underway, we pause to note with pleasure that Mr. Delirium has once again graced the pages of local-lit-zine Smile, Hon, You’re in Baltimore! The new Alleyways edition features a poem (of all things) called “Regret Alley” that stems from the steaming pen of Monsieur [...] What is this thing called . . improv? Our Host bounces almost all-the-way-back from throat surgery, thanks to the fearless intervention of the Amazing Betty. Then he unwittingly learns about something called hyper-local news from a representative of the nicotine patch.com. Next we tackle the whole “improb” conspiracy, with writer/director and sometime improviser Patrick Flynn. [...] We are gladdened by glad tidings of glittering gladness to report that Mr. Delirium’s original play, Survey Pro, was selected by the Fells Point Corner Theatre for its 2nd Annual 10X10 10-Minute Play Festival! Selected from a pool of 69 submissions, Survey Pro and 9 other winners will be produced at FPCT in April. In [...] We’re pleased as punchables to announce that the upcoming issue of Smile Hon, You’re in Baltimore has a short piece written by Mr Delirium! Smile, Hon is an award-winning literary magazine produced in Baltimore by William P. Tandy (who appeared in our Thanksgiving show), and issue 15 will be available in February. What an honor! [...] |
