Amazing Betty

InveDel‘s Comedy Consultant: The Amazing Betty

She grew up in (or on, whichever is more correct) Long Island, New York, and has that certain moxie that distinguishes New Yorkers from the rest of us East Coasters.

What she also has is a great sense of humor. Betty has a magnificent laugh and rich, versatile voice, and it’s safe to say she’s a natural comedian.

As for appearing on the show, she did so hesitantly at first, insisting that she isn’t a performer. Yet she came into her own with magnificent performances in Webisode 18, Reality Reality, where she’s both heartbroken AND scheming in the Soap Opera sketch, and an authoritative commentator in the “Admin Trials.”

Now  a semi-regular voice actor on the show, she also contributes behind the scenes, amping up our Twitter feed (and her own, amazingbetty), and scanning the web for new topics and guests.  She has inspired sketches (like Smokey Has Manboobs), and also conceived of Shouting Poe.

Perhaps best of all, she co-wrote the Performance Appraisal piece (from her own idea) in Webisode 43!

But, in the end, one of the best reasons to DO this podcast is to hear her glorious laugh when she listens to a finished show.

                                                                     ..plus she’s a lovely lady.
