InveDel picks up the Signal

Yes, friends, it appears that Baltimore’s own WYPR, our local National Public Radio (NPR) outlet, has succumbed to the charms of our alluring potcrust podcast.

None other than the Signal, the beloved arts/culture show, will feature a look at InveDel on Friday, November 4th. Here it hear!

Incidentally, the InveDel segment starts at around minute 25, and the “Tour of Baltimore” sketch excerpted in this interview is from Webisode 21: Outage.

The Signal is said to be devoted to exploring Maryland’s thriving artistic and cultural scene, and is the brainchild of producers Lisa Morgan and Aaron Henkin, along with the show’s host, WYPR stalwart Andy Bienstock.

The affable Ms. Morgan was kind enough to invite us into the studio for an interview, and then was kind enough to unlock the studio door to let us out again. (And an upcoming guest appearance by Milton Kent is a direct result of that visit!)

We are thrilled and deeply honored to be recognized in this way, especially since our podcast began as a spoof of the kind of public radio magazine show that . . . uh . . .

Put it this way:  InveDel the Signal, and WYPR, and we are extremely flattered to be a part of it! Hope you’ll listen in to the Signal this Friday, Saturday, and beyond!!
