KimKar & Marriage

Speaking generally, or even generically, we at InveDel try to stay away from gossip and up-to-the-minute celebritupidity, for fear it will taint us in some way. But according to The Blogging Manual, we must blog regularly, so let’s drop that principle for a moment…

To all those cynics who poo-poo KimKar (our new abrreviation for the industry known as Kim Kardashian. Like it?) for calling it quits on her 72-day-old nuptials, let’s take a moment and re-stock.

  1. Marriage is a life-long committment
  2. No one thought KimKar’s marriage was a serious attempt at matrimony
  3. No one is suprised by this outcome

In other words . . KimKar, who seems biologically predisposed to a lifetime of big, empty gestures, is quite likely matrimony-intolerant.

Which means . . . there’s hope for marriage yet!!

PS. Bonus shocking-and-yet-somehow-not statistic, from this Guardian article:
How much her mother Kris spent on a face lift for the wedding: $50,000.
